Refund Policy

Effective date: August 6, 2026

1. The short version

Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you are not charged until it ends. Subscription fees are non-refundable once charged, but you can cancel at any time and keep your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deposits your clients pay you are governed by your own policy, not ours.

2. Free trial

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. We collect a payment method up front, but no charge is made during the trial.

Cancel at any point before the trial ends and you will not be charged anything at all. Your studio moves to the Free plan and your booking page, clients, bookings and history all remain intact.

We email you three days before a trial ends so a charge is never a surprise.

3. Subscription fees

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time in a billing period, and we do not automatically refund a period that was renewed but not used.

When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You are not billed again after that, and your studio moves to the Free plan.

If you believe you were charged in error, or something was billed twice, contact us. We will investigate and correct genuine billing errors.

4. Changing plans mid-period

You can move between plans at any time, and we prorate the change rather than charging you twice.

  • Upgrading: we credit the unused time on your current plan, charge for the remainder of the period on the new plan, and bill only the difference — that day. Your new features are available immediately.
  • Downgrading: the unused time on your current plan becomes a credit applied to your next invoice. No money is refunded to your card, and nothing is charged at the time of the change.
  • During a free trial: changing plans costs nothing and does not extend or shorten the trial.

5. Client deposits and payments

Deposits and payments your clients make for tattoo appointments are collected on behalf of the artist or studio they booked with. They are not purchases of GetInkedOS.

Refund terms for a deposit are set by the artist or studio, and should be stated on their booking page before a client pays. If you are a client seeking a deposit refund, contact the artist or studio you booked with first — they decide.

If you cannot reach them, or believe a deposit was taken in error, contact us and we will help resolve it.

Artists: you are responsible for publishing a deposit policy your clients can read before they pay. Clear terms are the single most effective way to avoid chargebacks, which cost you the deposit and a fee on top of it.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@getinkedos.com from the address on your account, and include what was charged and when. We aim to reply within two business days.

You can cancel a subscription yourself at any time from Settings → Plan & billing. You do not need to email us to cancel, and we will never require you to call anyone to do it.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank typically takes 5–10 business days to post them.

7. Chargebacks

If you disagree with a charge, please contact us before disputing it with your bank. A dispute freezes the payment while the bank investigates, which takes far longer than simply correcting it ourselves. We would much rather fix a genuine mistake directly.
